The on-line nature of the services makes it convenient to generate e-mail/text alarms when limits are exceeded and to analyse and annotate historical data. The service is in active use by a number of municipalities.

Munisense provides the service 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. All measurement data is stored redundantly and securely so that loss of data is extremely unlikely. The data can be accessed securely at all times and anywhere by authorised users.
